Costs, benefits, and healing

Beware of very inexpensive permanent make-up "deals". The price will vary in different cities, but the cost is typically $350-$500. It should take at least an hour per procedure and a consultation is recommended. A test run can be done with traditional make-up so that the customer knows what shape and color to expect. Beware of promises that seem unrealistic. And ask questions! There should be 2 sessions, one for the initial procedure and one for touch ups.
Make sure the needles being used are brand new and in a sealed package and the work area is clean.
Ask to see the ink! Regular tattoo ink has more lead in it and looks harsh on the face. Permanent make-up ink will give a softer look and will stay truer to the color.
Vitamin E will help with the healing. Expect a one week healing period and don't pick at the scabs! You can remove color.

Permanent make-up is a delicate form of tattooing. It allows for women and men to accentuate their features without the daily hassle of traditional, removable make-up. The procedure can be virtually painless thanks to high grade numbing creams containing Lidocaine. The recovery time is minimal and minor scabbing may occur. There are many benefits to permanent make-up. Active women who would sweat off removable make-up use it as a permanent solution to running eye and eyebrow liner. Alopecia sufferers and patients loosing hair from cancer treatments would benefit from the permanent solution of eye brow and eye liner creation.
